This French fashion brand is inspired by the rich colors of the Mediterranean. Movie stars and aristocrats enjoying a luxurious holiday on the French Riviera. Hidden behind their sunglasses, sipping a cocktail, they record each other.
In 1950 Jean Goldberg opened a simple tailor shop in this prosperous place. His craftsmanship is quickly noticed and it does not take long for his tuxedos to be worn at the Cannes Film Festival.
Son Albert learns the tailoring trade from his father and turns out to have a unique view on fashion. He takes over the business from Jean. Ever since, the sunny colors of the Mediterranean, the sumptuous fabrics and the timeless elegance have been the hallmarks of Façonnable.
In 1987, an accessory line was added to the clothing line, including correction frames and sunglasses. This modern Eyewear collection focuses mainly on the modest men's segment with a good price / quality ratio.
With an excellent fit and accompanying wearing comfort, 4 clearly outlined styles can be found, namely the Progress-Design series, made of surgical Stainless Steel and the finest acetate from Japan; the New-Vintage series, with more classic models and details combined with the latest techniques, and the smoother and affordable French Rivièra collection and the Solaire models.

In 1950 opent Jean Goldberg op deze welvarende plek een simpele kleermakerij. Al snel wordt zijn vakmanschap opgemerkt en het duurt niet lang voor smokings van zijn hand op het filmfestival van Cannes worden gedragen.
Zoon Albert leert het kleermakersvak van zijn vader en blijkt een geheel eigen kijk op mode te hebben. Hij neemt de zaak van Jean over. Sindsdien zijn de zonnige kleuren van de Middellandse Zee, de weelderige stoffen en de tijdloze elegantie het handelsmerk van Façonnable.
