has relied on since 1959. The MINI lifestyle brand unites its heritage spirit with the current zeitgeist. We transfer this design language in MINI EYEWEAR with shapes ranging from familiar classics to fashion driven. The current Fall/Winter 2023 collection demonstrates the new design direction which follows the CLEAN MAXIMALISM principle and comprises seven frames and eight sunglasses models. Aviator, panto and variants in a supersized look – the focus is on the definition and the volumes of individual elements that bring out the particular features of the materials used. Not only the smooth and comfortable temple designs are reminiscent of the MINI car forms, but the association with the brand and its inspiration runs through the entire collection. Colours such as CHILI RED and ZESTY YELLOW are inspired by the MINI colour world and the original MINI colour palette. It’s reflected in daring and original colour combinations. This makes MINI EYEWEAR unique and expresses the identity of the brand even more clearly.

Since the day in 1959 when the first car rolled off the production line, MINI has stood for new perspectives and creative thinking. The colour worlds in which the cars move have always shown the courage to be different. Daring, unconventional or classic combinations are also found in the MINI EYEWEAR collection. With the necessary know-how, Eschenbach Optics in cooperation with MINI has been transferring the brand’s sense of life to their glasses collection since 2019.
With 12 new frames and 2 striking sunglasses models, MINI EYEWEAR focuses on timeless design and bold colours. Chili red meets British racing green. The exciting colours are reminiscent of MINI’s unmistakeable colour palette. Whether round or angular or as Nylor – the collection makes it possible to express one’s own personality. Geometric acetate frames and stainless steel models with retro elements reflect the lifestyle of free spirits.
MINI EYEWEAR has given itself the task of meeting growing ecological challenges, and uses the sustainable material of BIOTATE in the SUSTAINABLE ORIGINALS concept. The resource-conserving, sustainable complement to normal acetate is convincing through its colour brilliance in both matt and gloss finishes. The models are trailblazers for the future.
The SPRING STORIES highlight models also open up new perspectives. Whether oversized shapes or a strikingly designed square form – the models unite the current zeitgeist with the design of past days. The sunglasses models, too, reflect MINIness in shapes forms with strong character and an aesthetic colour range. The world is colourful and becomes even more so with MINI EYWEAR!
